However, Five MLAs from Owaisi's group who took the 2020 election in Seemanchal four of them were members of in the RJD during the current year. Owaisi was extremely angry about this.
AIMIM has increased the tension in RJD outside Seemanchal
Today, AIMIM is also gaining strength in other parts that are part of Bihar and is in opposition to the RJD specifically. Because the majority of the supporters of the RJD comprise Muslims and Yadavs, of which Owaisi is working hard to convince Muslims in his favor. In the recent assembly by-elections, his party fielded a candidate for Gopalganj and shocked by receiving more than 12000 votes. The defeat was directly due on the part of RJD the candidate Mohan Prasad Gupta and he was unable to win in a close race against BJP Candidate Kusum Devi. If AIMIM campaigner Abdul Salam not got 12,000 votes, RJD could have won.

Asaduddin Owaisi is accused of being a member of the B-team of the BJP. In reality, in the area in which his party is a candidate then Muslim supporters of other parties turn to his side. This leads to loss for different parties and BJP has the advantage. Recently the Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav also stated Owaisi to be the team B of BJP and it was the cause of a political uproar.
